  • Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine)

    Melbourne’s main domestic airport and only international airport is located at Tullamarine approximately 25km north-west of the city centre. To check the status of current flights click here.

  • Avalon Airport

    Melbourne has a second domestic airport located at Avalon 55km south-west of the city centre. If you have booked a cheap domestic flight, make sure that you check which airport you will be using as you may have to travel to Avalon Airport and not Melbourne (Tullamarine) Airport.

  • FAPAS Airport Shuttle

    Frankston and Peninsula Airport Shuttle (the green & white bus) will bring you to our doorstep from Tullamarine Airport and back again!

  • Melbourne Public Transport

    Metlink is the face of public transport in Melbourne. A partnership of Melbourne’s train, tram and bus operators, Metlink provides customers with a ‘one-stop-shop’ for information about services, fares and ticketing. A Metlink ticket will allow you to use more than one mode of transport to reach your destination.

  • Tourist Bus

    This popular, free service operates daily every 30 minutes between 9.30am and 4.30pm, excluding Good Friday and Christmas Day. The complete trip takes approximately 1.5 hours and includes an informative on-board commentary as you travel around Melbourne. Hop on and hop off the bus at any of the 13 stops at key city destinations.

  • City Circle Tram

    The City Circle tram is a free service that operates within Melbourne's central business district. The service operates in a circular route passing major tourist attractions, as well as linking with other tram, train and bus routes in and around Melbourne. Trams run in both directions approximately every twelve minutes between 10am and 6pm Sunday to Wednesday and extended hours, 10am - 9pm Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

  • NightRider Bus

    The NightRider bus service provides a safe, easy and inexpensive way to travel after midnight on weekends. All you need is a valid Metcard to jump on board. Buses run every 30 minutes from 1.30am to 4.30am on Saturday mornings and 1.30am to 5.30am on Sunday mornings. There are additional buses on selected routes, and special services may operate for major events such as New Year's Eve. Catch the Nightrider Bus (on route 970) from Swanston Street in the city to St Kilda, to return to Habitat HQ after a big night out!
