HABITAT HQ WINS 'Best Hotel Operator Website Award 2010' Habitat HQ achieves a new & exciting benchmark having been awarded TRAVELTech’s Best Hotel Operator Website Award for 2010’ winning over a credible line-up of finalists in the category. The TRAVELTech Web Awards, sponsored by Amadeus & Tourism Technology were announced at Tuesday’s TRAVELTech conference & are based on the following criteria of Innovation, Design & Usability, Meeting the Brief, Speed, Build & Content. We were proud to be announced as a finalist but winning the category against established website properties is outstanding & comes with widespread industry acclaim.

Hostelworld.com is a key site for independent travelers all over the world to research, book & review hostels as they travel the globe. In May 2010 Hostelworld had 16,243 Hostel reviews for Melbourne Hostels which is massive for an independent review scale. All ratings are submitted by customers who have booked and stayed at hostels in Melbourne within the last 6 months. Summary ratings are calculated for the top ten properties and awarded nationally per month.
